At Yougee (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform" or "Yougee"), we treat the protection of our content creators' and brands' personal data with a "trust first" mindset. This notice has been prepared, in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), to transparently describe the scope of data we collect as data controller and your related rights.

To streamline collaboration between content creators and brands, Yougee processes the following categories of data:

Performance & social media	Social media usernames, engagement metrics, follower demographics, and areas of expertise.

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the purposes below to personalize your Yougee experience and operate on a lawful basis:

Smart matching: AI-assisted matching of your physical traits and social performance with brands’ niche campaign needs (for example, a sportswear brand seeking creators within a certain height range for athletes).
Operations: Processing payments, managing logistics (e.g. product shipment), and providing technical support.
Security and audit: Preventing misuse of the Platform and maintaining the highest practicable level of data security.
Legal obligations: Fulfilling retention duties arising from tax law and information technology regulations.

4. Transfers of Personal Data

Your data is shared only where the nature of the service requires it, with:

Brands and business partners: Limited to the information brands need to evaluate you, and only for campaigns you applied to or explicitly approved.
Service providers: Payment systems (e.g. Paddle), cloud storage providers, and logistics companies.
Public authorities: Courts and administrative bodies when there is a lawful request.

5. Retention Period

We retain your data for as long as your Yougee account is active and thereafter for statutory retention periods (often up to 10 years for financial records). Data that is no longer needed is periodically deleted or anonymized.

6. Your Rights (KVKK Article 11)

As a Yougee user, you always have the right to:

Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data (for example your current hair color or address),
Request deletion or destruction of your personal data,
Object to outcomes that are to your detriment where your data is analyzed solely by automated means.

7. Special note: Physical characteristics and explicit consent

Details such as height, shoe size, or skin tone are important so we can present you as the best-matching candidate to brands. By adding them to your profile, you give explicit consent for brands to discover you. You may update or remove this information at any time. (A quick note: missing details may make it harder to receive invites to certain specialized campaigns.)

8. Security and cookies

Yougee uses strong encryption practices to protect your data. We use cookies to deliver a smoother experience. Our cookies focus on technical performance only—they do not care what you ate at your desk.
